We procured two specialty barrels that were used to age Cherry Applejack brandy and immediately had the idea of creating a rich base beer that would provide the backdrop for these barrels to express themselves. What resulted is a beer that evokes memories of homemade apple pie, with warm baking spices and brown sugar that pop out of the glass at first sniff. Flavors of dark cherry and oak are wrapped up with the wonderful warmth that comes from the apple brandy.
